Yesterday got off to a nervous start and I spent much of it in the school (good thing about bad weather was that Dr. Beck’s class was cancelled) - revising and reworking some important problems. I also discussed couple of problems with Tilvi and the examination started off at 7 pm. The questions looked very intimidating - but suggestions of Dr. Kostinski and Eli helped a lot. I did not complete either of the problems (which were, not surprisingly, about oscillations) and was not very happy with the way I answered them. Post-exam discussions with Lau (about - what if we don’t clear the exam ?) made both of us quite depressed. I came back to apartment with Biju and Kiran (after a horrendous experience in the snow), had some food and spent much of the night in going through solutions while watching parts of some movies. Today’s exam, General Physics on the other hand, felt lot easier (thanks to Dr. Kostinski’s course last semester) and I think I did pretty well. After a brief discussion with fellow graduate students, I decided not to worry too much about the results of the exams…
