A Glance At What Has Happened

Spring 2005 just ended and it has been a memorable semester for many reasons. I got through the Physics Qualifiers in early January and started working on building a Beowulf linux cluster in our research group; I (actively) participated in (most of the) LUG meetings and Install-A-Thon; attended APS March Meeting in Los Angeles, meeting several interesting people… There is also one reason for which I would love to forget this semester — course work (or my performance in it). This is the only semester when I did not submit even one assignment on time and would have definitely flunked but for two reasons — absence of final exam and my classmates. Two of my friends have graduated and I just returned from the traditional Pizza-IceCream party organized by the department. It is probably the pizza (or the ice-cream) that is making me write this…
