As planned, I started from Parsippany (after having Rags’ Upma for breakfast) around 10 am and just like last few days, didn’t miss any exit and reached Baltimore around 2.30 pm or so. I almost got bumped off in BWI - but the Northwest agents put me back on flight. It wasn’t the prettiest feeling to be the last one boarding when mind was all set to be in Baltimore for a day more Anyways, it turned out to be a good thing as I spent the flight time (from BWI to MSP) talking to a Canadian national about various topics and some of it might be very helpful (not just for me) in the near future. Flight to CMX was underbooked and I was back in Houghton on time - Dave picked me up from the airport and I crashed after spending a few minutes on my new little toy, 12 inch Mac notebook.

Even after resting for nearly 12 hours, I was still feeling rusty and Dr. P asked to me rest for some more time. I haven’t done much work today, except helping a fellow grad student with linux issues on his laptop, debugging Dr. Ranjit’s VASP parallel job issue, cleaning up photo galleries, and adding some important stuff in the new notebook. It will be some more time before my body can fully recover (from what it has gone through the last 8 days or so) and get back to normal working routine…
