NFL 2006-07 Play Offs – My Picks
January 6th, 2007 @ 11:14:00 | Sports
Hmm… Well, this NFL regular season flew past in a jiffy and play offs begin in just a few hours from now. Following is something I have never done before, at least not in this format. There is some football logic behind what you see below, and needless to mention, there is some favorism involved too. FYI, I do hate any team (well, honestly I do – any team that has TO; and just about any team that plays Packers/Patriots when they are not playing each other). Knowing that it’s just a game and that it’s not just a game when some teams play each other, things may not work out as I think they will. But if they do, you know whom to pick (i.e., me) for your team next season

PS: Yeah, I took this format from Wiki and changed it to meet my requirements.

Yawn! Whatever! Yawn! Whatever!
now that Cowboys messed it up in the dying seconds, i’m rooting for Colts…
@Note2Myself:
Hopefully, I will get at least one pick right during Divisional Play Offs Week! Now that Ravens have failed to protect home against Colts, Saints have beaten Eagles, and Bears have taken care of Sea Hawks, I would love to see Saints in Super Bowl – along with, preferably my Patriots.
[...] OK – only 5 of my 11 picks for the ongoing NFL Playoff season turned out to be right, and more importantly, my favorite team – New England Patriots – played uncharacteristically to loose another Super Bowl appearance. But no regrets – Colts played really really well in the second half to win the game. If at all they (Colts) go on to win the Super Bowl in two weeks, it will be nothing short of a Hollywood script – win over the once uncrossable hurdle, called Patriots, to get there:) [...]
