Couldn’t Apple have planned for the traffic? Someone in charge needs a slap on the wrist. After spending half the day working on getting the update to work (and getting my cell phone service back, I’m left feeling annoyed at the process.

However, I do like all of the updates to the software. Yeah, there are still a few things missing that I’d like to see, but I do think it’s an improvement.

Damn Apple, they’ve got us hooked on their products!

@Note2Self: New York Times reported this about the whole iPhone saga. Reading the last line, Bill Gates must be enjoying this one, I cannot help but wonder If Apple users started laughing at every missed step from Mr. Gates & Co., they would never stop laughing...

i downloaded 7.7 itunes but still nothing. I guess will try to be patient but it is hard when you are really excited about the update but too poor to buy the new phone

It happened to me once this morning but second time I hit Update, it did it – first to update was iTunes itself (a reboot) and then it did the iPhone part. Hope this helps you.

I pushed update on my itunes and it said that 1.1.4 is the most up to date software. Why wont it go to 2.0?
