Ever since I got hooked to
NFL (the watching part only; as much as I would love to, I still cannot throw anything that looks like a decent spiral), it had been my dream to watch at least one game live in a stadium. While talking to a dear friend, I was informed about the match up between two of my favorite teams -
New England Patriots visiting
Green Bay Packers.
And what better place to start the live-game-watching-affair than at the history-rich, tradition-filled, holy Lambeau Field?? With the possibility of seeing two potential Hall of Fame caliber athletes in action in one game, I didn't have to think twice to start searching for a ticket.
Seated amidst an ocean of Packers and islands of far-traveled Patriots fans, the hospitality of Packer-nation was overwhelming - even when the 35-0 deficit was staring them straight in the eye. I am extremely grateful to the Packers Security Personnel who let me carry my 70-200 mm telephoto lens into the stadium.
At some point during the game, I missed a play and turned back to see a replay on the big-screen. I didn't see the replay but what caught the corner of my eye was the reflection of Lambeau Field in a fellow fan's sun glasses. Thankfully, she was seated just at the right distance for my lens to capture it!
A very detailed account of this day's experience is
