And with Brett's retirement the planets will shatter their current unnatural alignment and the Packer Universe will once again seek a more entropic state. Green Bay will return to its normal existence of misery and losing; an elephant's graveyard where old players go to end their careers. 30 years hence, will a new Messiah appear? :)

@sblakeup:
I remember one of our post game DownTowner conversations about how you thought GB would go down after Brett's retirement ... I guess we just need to wait few more months and see how #12 and co. perform...

I do like your statement - planets will shatter their current unnatural alignment ... Owing to where I was born and raised, I am supposed to believe in god's incarnation. If that philosophy applies to NFL, my guess is Brett was as good and entertaining an incarnation as there will ever be...

Heh - I am assuming they love #4 more than they love football itself ?

They love Brett. My brother has been a Packers Fan his entire life. His boys love the Packers. They love Brett but are more Packers fans than fans of Brett.
